LaPosada Senior Living Community in West Palm Beach, Florida is a $46 million complex. Completed in 2004, the 294-unit, 22.5 acre community offers a variety of facilities including independent living units, health center, and Alzheimer’s unit.

The centrally located community center is accessible by a bridge extending over the waterway. The community center’s main dining room features wrap around porches overlooking the water and a lower-level café situated on the water. The entire center functions as a pedestrian environment with walkways that meander along both banks of the water.

The architectural vocabulary used to develop the community is derived from the area’s eclectic Mediterranean heritage. LaPosada is a community where the outdoors is equally as important as the interior living spaces, which adds value, enjoyment, and tranquility to life.
