Biography

As principal and founder of Studio9, Jason has help lead the firm through visionary ideas, leadership and the knowledge of implementation. Jason’s initiative to assemble the City of Jacksonville, State DOT and private development in a partnership to improve the Brooklyn area of downtown Jacksonville has spawned the first significant mixed-use Jacksonville development in many years.  From major infrastructure and street improvements, the creation of Unity Plaza and the 220 Riverside Mixed-Use Development has led to the revitalization of the Brooklyn District which has fast become a development focus and a major gateway into the City of Jacksonville.

Jason has worked for several prominent national & regional architectural firms and founded Studio9 Architecture in 2010.  He has completed projects in California, Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Texas.  He has a diverse background of project experience comprised of aviation, mixed-use, corporate, hospitality, healthcare, industrial and residential projects.  

In addition to being a licensed architect, he is also a licensed interior designer passionate about the integration of both architecture and interior design. Jason has led the planning and interior design of over 1.2 million square feet of commercial office and hospitality interior space.  He has taught interior design at the collegiate level for 18 years at both the Art Institute of Jacksonville and Florida State College of Jacksonville.  Jason currently serves as the Chairman for the Jacksonville International Airport Arts Commission. 

Jason has been a Jacksonville resident for 50 years and is passionate about the future of Jacksonville.
